A word used to describe the body and mind as one item. In many ancient traditions and now proven through modern scientific research and clinical practice, it is strongly held that the body is the mind and the mind is the body. You cannot separate the two, whether energetically, bio-chemically, physically, or otherwise.

me·chan·ics:

A word with many definitions, but here "mechanics" is the study of the way matter and forces interact with each other. Also commonly used in terms of taking your car into the mechanic. You can take your bodymind into the mechanic as well!

body·mind me·chan·ics:

A phrase that represents how we are interested in the way the body and the mind interact with each other and our external environment. Also, the business name chosen by Jennifer Stelly, a Certified BodyTalk Instructorer and International lecturer located in Houston, Texas to represent her full-time vocation as a practitioner, instructor, mentor and lecturer.

I have always identified with the lotus as a symbol of rebirth, fertility and the unfolding process we go through to find, become, and then be who we are in our authentic self. There are many petals in those small, compact blossoms and each petal, to me, represents one aspect of who we are, or an experience that helps make us who we are. For it is all the colorful experiences in our life (good, bad or otherwise) that make us who we are and in some sense defines us. But also, when those experiences no longer define or suit us, the petal withers and falls off the blossom, leaving a trace of it's former existence and making space for new petals to come and fill in behind it.

The hands represent the support and unconditional love you receive as a client or student while making your journey to better health and wellness. It is not always an easy journey, but it is made easier when the support is there. BodyTalk is a hands-on (or off!) energy therapy, so no other tools are needed. Have hands, will travel! You do not have to invest in any other expensive equipment or electronics or have a background in healthcare to get good results.

The high-tech font used in the logo represents that there is actual science, technology and research backing up the findings of the BodyTalk System and energy medicine in general, as well as good solid clinical evidence and experience from years of practitioners and instructors using these techniques on themselves and their clients.
